We started playing in the Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation League on Saturday 10/25/08.We only had five players since our point guard broke his hand playing football.
Our players got pretty tired pretty fast, and so we will have to recruit at least two more kids for subs.
We played Madison and they only beat us by 12. They had 9 players and rotated them quite a bit, so we were playing against fresh legs.
We have quite a few things to work on, but one the bright spots was that we hit at least six three-pointers.
The flex offense didn't seem to work really well. We also seemed to do better in a man defense.
We have practice again on Monday night, and I will be thinking of some drills to help improve these kids.
They really do have potential. They have raw talent and could be great, with hours of practice.
